THE RULES
OF THE SHOP.

Last updated — 16 August 2026

This is the agreement between you and Archonic when you browse this site or buy from it. We've written it to actually be read — short sentences, no walls of capital letters, and the parts that limit your rights are stated plainly rather than hidden.

// buy from us and these apply. read the ones about money.

Who we are

Archonic is a clothing brand operating as a sole proprietorship trading as “Archonic”, based in India (“Archonic”, “we”, “us”). We design our own pieces and have them produced to order by a print-on-demand partner in India.

02

These terms

By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Returns & Refunds policy. If you don't agree with them, please don't order.

We may update these terms — the version in force is whatever is published here at the moment you place your order, and we won't apply a later change retroactively to an order you've already made. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian placing the order for you.

03

Your account

You can browse without an account, but some things need one — order history, self-serve cancellation, and Cash on Delivery.

  • Give accurate details, and keep your email address current — that's how we reach you about an order.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access to it.
  • We may suspend or close an account we reasonably believe is being used for fraud, abuse, or to repeatedly refuse Cash on Delivery parcels. Where we do, we'll say why.
04

The products

Every Archonic piece is made to order. Nothing is pre-printed and held in stock — your tee is produced after you pay for it, which is why our returns policy is narrower than a conventional retailer's.

  • Colour — product photos are shot as accurately as we can manage, but screens differ. A small variation between what you see and what arrives is normal and isn't a defect.
  • Sizing — the size chart on each product page is a guide based on garment measurements. Small tolerances between individual garments are normal in apparel manufacturing. Only the sizes shown as available for a colourway can be ordered.
  • Availability — designs are released as limited drops and may be retired without notice. Once retired, a design may never return.
05

Prices, currency & tax

  • Prices show in Indian Rupees for visitors in India and US Dollars elsewhere. Choosing a delivery address outside India puts your order in USD.
  • Prices are inclusive of applicable Indian taxes. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay.
  • Where a product page shows a higher struck-through figure alongside the price, that is an indicative reference price for the same style, shown for comparison. It is not necessarily a price Archonic previously charged. The price you pay is always the one shown in the cart and charged at checkout.
  • International orders may attract customs duty, import tax or handling fees on arrival. Those are set by your country, are not included in our price, and are payable by you. We can't predict or refund them, and a parcel refused because of them is treated as a refused delivery.
  • Prices can change at any time, but never after you've placed an order. If a price is listed in obvious error, see the next section.
06

Placing an order

Your order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we confirm the order by email, not when you click pay. Until then we may decline it and refund you in full.

We may decline or cancel an order where:

  • a price or product description was listed in obvious error
  • we can't produce or deliver the item, including to your PIN code
  • we suspect fraud, or the order breaches these terms
  • the account has a history of refused Cash on Delivery parcels

You can order a maximum of 10 units of any single item per order. Orders are for personal use — see Acceptable use before buying to resell.

Prices and totals are always calculated on our servers from our own catalogue. Anything shown in your browser is a display of that, and if the two ever disagree the server figure governs.

07

Payment

  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details go to them directly and are never stored on our systems.
  • We accept the methods Razorpay offers for your region, including international cards on USD orders.
  • An order is only confirmed once payment is verified. A failed, abandoned or reversed payment leaves an unconfirmed order that we simply discard — nothing is charged and nothing is produced.
  • If a payment is charged back or reversed after we've dispatched, we may recover the amount and decline future orders from that account.
08

Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery is available within India, on rupee orders only. It is partly prepaid:

  • You pay 20% of the order total online when you place the order. The order isn't confirmed until that advance is received.
  • The courier collects the remaining 80% in cash at delivery. That exact figure is shown at checkout and repeated in your confirmation email.
  • COD costs ₹20 more in delivery charges than paying online, shown before you commit.
  • Limits: a maximum order value of ₹15,000, a maximum of 3 open COD orders per account at a time, and a signed-in account is required.
  • Please have the exact cash ready. Couriers may not be able to give change, and payment method at the door is at the courier's discretion.

Refusing a COD parcel has consequences. The 20% advance is not refunded, and we may withdraw COD from your account. If you've changed your mind, cancel from My Orders before dispatch instead — see Returns & Refunds for exactly when the advance comes back.

09

Promo & referral codes

  • Codes apply only when you enter or select one at checkout. We never apply one automatically, and we can't apply one to an order you've already placed.
  • One code per order. Codes don't stack.
  • Discounts apply to the product total, never to the delivery charge.
  • Codes have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and can be withdrawn or deactivated at any time.
  • Using a creator's code credits that creator with a commission. It costs you nothing, and we don't share your identity or order details with them.
  • We may cancel orders and void codes where a code is used in bad faith — bulk abuse, self-referral for commission, or codes obtained by scraping.
10

Shipping & delivery

  • Delivery charges: ₹40 within India on prepaid orders, ₹60 on Cash on Delivery, and $1.99 on international orders. Always shown before you pay.
  • Production takes roughly 2–5 working days, because your tee is printed after you order it. Transit time is on top of that — typically 3–7 working days within India, and longer internationally.
  • All timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. Couriers, weather, holidays and customs are outside our control.
  • Your address must be correct and complete. We ship to exactly what you entered. A parcel lost or returned because of a wrong or incomplete address isn't something we can refund, though we'll always try to help.
  • Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Where a parcel is confirmed lost in transit, we replace or refund it — see Returns & Refunds.
  • We ship worldwide, but can't deliver everywhere. If your location turns out to be unserviceable we'll cancel and refund in full.
11

Cancellation & returns

Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or for a size you chose yourself. We do replace or refund, at no cost to you, anything that arrives damaged, misprinted, or different from what you ordered.

The full policy — including how to claim, the 48-hour window, when a COD advance is refundable, and how long refunds take — is on the Returns & Refunds page, and forms part of these terms.

12

Intellectual property

The Archonic name, logo, site design, photography, copy and product graphics are owned by or licensed to Archonic and are protected by intellectual property law. Buying a tee buys you the tee — it doesn't transfer any rights in the artwork on it.

You may not, without our written permission:

  • reproduce, print or manufacture our designs, whether for sale or not
  • use our name, logo or product images to sell or promote anything
  • pass off products as Archonic, or imply an association we haven't agreed to

Personal use of a tee you bought — wearing it, photographing it, posting it — is entirely fine and encouraged. Some designs reference or are inspired by third-party works; any such trademarks or characters remain the property of their respective owners, and their appearance doesn't imply endorsement of or affiliation with Archonic.

13

Acceptable use

Don't:

  • scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site, or hammer our APIs
  • attempt to break, probe or bypass our security, rate limits or admin areas
  • place orders you don't intend to pay for or accept
  • use someone else's payment method or identity
  • buy for commercial resale without our written agreement

If you're a security researcher and you find something, please email us rather than exploiting it — we'll take it seriously and we won't come after you for reporting it in good faith.

14

Content you submit

If you send us photos, reviews or feedback, you keep ownership of them, but you give us permission to use them to promote Archonic across our site and social channels. Please only send us content you actually own, and nothing unlawful or offensive.

We can decline or remove anything submitted, and we can stop using it if you ask us to.

15

Third parties & links

We rely on outside services to operate — payments, printing, delivery, hosting and email. Their handling of your data is covered in our Privacy Policy.

Links from our site or emails to other websites are for convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or their terms.

16

Site availability

We'd like the site to be up all the time, but we can't promise it. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it — including retiring products or features — without notice, and we aren't liable for the site being unavailable.

We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control: courier disruption, supplier or payment-processor failure, strikes, natural events, network or power outages, or government action. If such an event stops us fulfilling a confirmed order, we'll refund it in full.

17

Liability

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 stand regardless of what this page says.

Subject to that:

  • our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for that order
  • we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost opportunity, or the fact that a tee didn't arrive in time for a specific occasion
  • the site is provided as-is, and we don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free

You agree to cover us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

18

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at your city.

Please talk to us first. Almost everything gets sorted with one email, and we'd always rather fix a problem than argue about it. If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.

19

Grievances & contact

As required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month of receipt.
